The establishment of the Brunei-China One Belt One Road Association in Brunei Darussalam was officially declared on 18th December 20h3. In the evening, the Association held its Inauguration/ Swearing-in Ceremony to install the pioneering Executive Committee of the Association. The Guests of Honours for the ceremony were Her Excellency Madam Yang Jian (the Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Brunei Darussalam) and Dato Dr Amin Liew (the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance of Brunei Darussalam).
In attendance at the ceremony were senior government officials, dignitaries, representatives of national associations and invited guests from China. The event was magnificent and lively; marking a historic chapter for the Association to begin exploring and fostering closer collaborations related to strengthening of trades, cultures, and education between the two nations.
